Maths in Matariki Breakfast

Matariki Breakfast at Wesley

It was Matariki. We had Matariki breakfast yesterday at school.

We cooked sausages for all the families and children.

There were 5 families. Each family had 3 people.

How many people came to the Matariki breakfast?

Each person had 2 sausages. How many sausages do we need to cook?

We are learning to explain and justify our answers
