FRUIT BOWL Fractions
Here is a bowl of fruit.
1/2 of the of fruits in the bowl are apples.
There are also
3 oranges,
2 pears and
a banana.
How many apples are there in the bowl?
There is another fruit bowl with four types of fruits. Each type of fruit is quarter share of the whole bowl. If there are 5 pears and 5 bananas, the rest of the bowl has apples and oranges, how many would be apples and how many would be oranges?
