It's exciting to be back at school as we look forward to more fun learning more new Maths strategies. So lovely to see you all keen to learn more Mathematical strategies this year. We will be working collaboratively and focusing on Communicating and Participating which will help us to understand and express our Mathematical ideas effectively. During our Maths learning we will be following the norms listed below.

* Share our Maths thinking * Listen to others ideas and learn from others 
* Draw pictures to show our thinking * Explain our strategies
* Give reasons to our solutions and justify our thinking
* We learn from making mistakes
Message to our Whanau
Please encourage your children to talk about their Maths ideas, ask them to tell you what they have been learning in Maths, listen to them explain their strategies, encourage them when they make mistakes as we believe in our children and encourage them to try again and learn from mistakes.
